Cara Menghalang Virus Dari USD, CD-ROM, Pendrive

How to prevent virus from USB flashdrive, pendrive, thumbdrive and plug and play drive.

Virus menyelinap melalui autorun dan recycler

Apabila saya dan kawan-kawan membuat hardening atau troubleshoot komputer kakitangan Skali ada kes-kes mengenai virus yang tersebar melalui pemicu USB atau pemicu cakera CD berlaku.

Virus-virus dari luar terutamanya pendrive akan memasuki pc setelah dicocok di plug USB atau pembaca CD-ROM.

Contoh senarai benda asing dalam pendrive:

1. Autorun.inf
2. New Folder.exe
3. Bha.vbs
4. Iexplore.vbs
5. Info.exe
6. New_Folder.exe
7. Ravmon.exe
8. RVHost.exe
9. Images.bat

Untuk melihat senarai semua fail termasuk yang hidden dan system anda boleh mencuba CMD prompt berikut:

dir/w/o/a/p

Antara cara virus ini masuk adalah melalui fungsi Autorun dalam Windows kita.

Justeru itu ada beberapa langkah atau cara untuk menutup fungsi autorun atau menghalang kemasukan virus dari drive luar.

1. Mematikan Fungsi Autorun/Autoplay (Turn OFF drive AUTORUN)

- Pergi ke Start Menu > RUN (Windows +R)
- Taip “GPEDIT.MSC”
- Pergi USER Config> Admin Templates> System
- Di panel kanan, double click pada TURN OFF AUTOPLAY
- Tukar nilai ENABLED & pilih ALL DRIVES dari combo box
- Ulang semula proses tersebut untuk  TURN OFF AUTOPLAY option dalam COMPUTER Config> Admin Templates> System

2. Menetapkan Software Policy Restrictions

-Buka GPEDIT.MSC
-Pergi ke Computer Configuration> Windows Settings > Security Settings
-Klik Kanan tetikus pada Software Restriction Policy & pilih Create New Policies. (Sekiranya pilihan itu tidak ada hanya buka/expand path SRP tu.)
-Klik kanan tetikus pada Additional Rules dan pilih “NEW PATH RULE”
-Masukkan drive letter pemacu usb anda & set SECURITY LEVEL as Disallowed dan klik Apply.


Ulang semula langkah diatas untuk setiap USB drive bergantung mana-mana port usb drive yang ada di pc anda.

Sekarang semua fail-fail executable (*.exe, *.bat, *.cmd, *.vbs, *.scr) yang ada dalam usb drive akan dihalang dari dijalankan (execution).

Sekiranya anda ingin menjalankan fail-fail tersebut dari usb drive, copy aplikasi itu dalam pc iaitu local drive anda.

3. Menghalang Aplikasi Virus dari Menghasilkan Autorun.inf dan folder RECYCLER.

Dalam Windows, untuk menghalang fail dihasilkan pada satu direktori adalah dengan membuat folder dengan nama fail tersebut, daan untuk menghalang nama folder dihasilkan adalah dengan membuat nama fail sama seperti nama folder.

Pendek kata, fail digunakan untuk melawan folder dan folder digunakan untuk menghalang fail.

Contoh fail myskali.txt tidak akan dapat dibuat sekiranya ada folder dengan nama myskali.txt.
Contoh folder myskali tidak dapat dibuat sekiranya ada fail myskali.

Jadi, kaedah ini dapat digunakan untuk menghalang ada aplikasi yg cuba menyelitkan fail autorun.inf dan folder RECYCLER.

Untuk menghasilkan fail tersebut hanya perlu:

1. Membuat folder bernama autorun.inf  (untuk menghalang file autorun.inf dihasilkan)
2. Membuat fail RECYCLER (untuk menghalang folder RECYCLER dihasilkan)

Berikut arahan CMD promt yg mudah:


attrib -r -s /s /d autorun.inf
attrib -r -s /s /d RECYCLER
del autorun.inf 
del RECYCLER
md autorun.inf 
md autorun.inf\con
md autorun.inf\con\aux
md autorun.inf\con\aux\nul
echo. >NUL 2>RECYCLER
attrib +h +r +s +a /d autorun.inf
attrib +h +r +s +a /d RECYCLER

(pastikan anda sudah cd ke driver media yang ingin dilindungi itu atau anda boleh buat fail .bat)

Arahan diatas menyebabkan fail dan folder itu hilang pada pandangan dan bersifat read-only.

Pembuatan folder CON, AUX dan NUL adalah untuk memastikan folder CONFIG.INF tidak boleh didelete secara suka-suka.

Sebabnya nama-nama berikut memang tidak boleh dibuat melalui kaedah biasa kerana dah reserved untuk system:

CON Keyboard and display
PRN System list device, usually a parallel port
AUX Auxiliary device, usually a serial port
NUL Bit-bucket device
A: sehingga Z: Drive letters
COM1 First serial communications port
COM2 Second serial communications port
COM3 Third serial communications port
COM4 Fourth serial communications port
LPT1 First parallel printer port
LPT2 Second parallel printer port
LPT3 Third parallel printer port

Cuba anda buat nama folder dengan nama diatas. Folder dengan nama diatas hanya dapat dibuat melalui commad prompt atau hasilan Linux.

4. Menggunakan Aplikasi anti-Autorun atau USB Virus Remover

Di internet terdapat banyak pembuat aplikasi yang membantu anda untuk mengatasi masalah virus dari storan media USB.

Minyak Habbatussauda Perahan Pertama (Extra Virgin Oil)

InsyaAllah antara nutrien yang terkandung di dalam minyak habatusauda asli dara

Kemanfaatan sesuatu bahan biasanya boleh diambil dari kandungan minyaknya seperti buah kelapa sawit kita mengambil manfaat khasiat dan mudharat dari minyaknya juga. Buah kelapa biasa juga boleh dinilai melalui minyak yang terhasil darinya juga. Begitulah juga dengan gamat Langkawi dan juga koko.

Secara biologinya, bahan-bahan tersebut jika dimakan secara bentuk fizikal asalnya akhirnya akan dicerna di dalam perut dan minyaklah yang akan terhasil yang akan dimanfaati sepenuhnya oleh tubuh badan kita. Yang lain akan menjadi protein dan hampas yang ada juga kegunaan lain seperti serat, pembersih dan lain-lain.

Minyak yang dihasilkan dari biji jintan Habbatussauda'  melalui proses perahan sejuk (Cold Pressured) adalah satu kaedah terbaik dalam membolehkan perut kita cepat mengambil terus khasiatnya. Justeru tidak hairanlah minyak jintan hitam ini mendapat perhatian yang lebih berbanding dari kaedah memakannya secara begitu sahaja.

Minyak Habbatussauda' yang terbaik dihasilkan melalui kaedah perahan sejuk iaitu sejenis bentuk perahan yang dilakukan tanpa melibatkan penggunaan haba dan bioteknologi seperti pemanasan dan penapaian.

Perahan Minyak Habbatussaudak yang pertama adalah yang paling terbaik dan bermutu disebabkan ianya adalah minyak yang pertama terhasil selepas kaedah pemerahan tersebut.

Dalam bahasa inggeris perkataan Habbatus sauda Virgin Oil diguna pakai tetapi untuk perahan pertama akan digunakan nama Extra Virgin Habbatussauda' Oil (iaitu sehabis baik ianya memang perahan pertama sahaja dan tidak dicampur-campur dengan perahan kedua dan seterusnya).

Sepertimana kita memerah santan, perahan santan yang pertama adalah yang lebih pekat dan kuat rasa santannya. Perahan santan yang seterusnya hanya akan menghasilkan bau dan warna yang kurang berbanding yang pertama.

Minyak Habbatussauda Jintan Hitam Penawar

Balik Kampung The Journey

Semalam setelah selesai solat Isyak saya telah bersiap sedia untuk balik ke Kuala Lumpur. Maklumlah 2 minggu sekali balik jadinya agak keberatan untuk meninggalkan mereka terutamanya sekali isteri yang disayangi.

Ada sedikit makan malam iaitu saki baki makanan yang dibawa dari kenduri kahwin saudara sebelah bapa mertua. Saya menjamah kerepek, telur rebus dan dodol durian. Hmm, memang sedap.

Tidak lama kemudian, kepala saya mengalami denyutan yang sangat menyakitkan. Migrain datang dan saya berasa pening-pening keloyaan. Mod untuk balik menaiki bas malam terbantut. Jadinya saya bermalam satu malam lagi di kampung dan merancang menaiki bas awal pagi esoknya.

Sebelum tidur saya meminta isteri saya menyediakan minyak habbatussauda dan juga madu. Selepas meminum dua sudu habbatussauda dan satu sudu madu, saya merasai pening-pening saya berkurangan mendadak tetapi masih ada kesakitan disebabkan denyut-denyut dikepala. Alhamdulillah saya dpt tidur lena sedikit berbanding sebelum mengambil minyak jintan hitam tersebut dan madu asli.

Keesokan paginya saya merasa pening-pening dan denyut-denyut dah tiada. Alhamdulillah. Kebiasaannya kalau saya menaiki bas saya akan mabuk tetapi kali ini saya tidak mengalaminya.

Habbatus Sauda' Jintan Hitam

Sebenarnya pengambilan habbatussauda dan madu adalah ubat yang terbaik yang disabdakan oleh junjungan mulia baginda nabi s.a.w. Mengapa kita sibuk untuk mencari penawar dan supplement yang lain daripada ini sekiranya pemakanan ini telah disabdakan oleh nabi Muhammad S.A.W sendiri.

Untk artikel akan datang saya akan menjelaskan lebih terperinci mengenai khasiat dan kebaikan dari habbatassaudak dan madu asli.

Kita perlulah mulai mengingat pemberat binari berikut:

Mask        - ...0...128...192...224...240...248...252...254...255
CIDR        - /24.../25..../26..../27..../28..../29..../30..../31..../32
WC Mask - 255,127   ,63     ,31    ,15    ,7      ,3     ,1   dan 0
Oktet: - 8, 16, 24, 32

Nombor Ajaib Mask: 256

Nombor Ajaib Wildcard: 255

Sekarang mari kita terus membuat latihan minda:

Mask -: 255.255.255.224

Ambil 256 dan tolak dengan 224.

256 - 224 = 32 .Maksunya kita akan dapat 32 alamat ip.

Setiap blok ip biasanya ada 1 network ip dan 1 broadcast ip.

Jadinya 32 - 2 = 30 ip untuk pc/host yang boleh di gunakan.

Latihan seterusnya:

Mask -255.255.255.192

256-192 = 64

64-2 = 62 ip untuk host/pc

CIDR - /29

/29 melimpah ke oktat ke 4 iaitu 32.

32-29 = 3,

2^3 = 8 menunjukkan jumlah ip

256 - 8 = 254 dalam mask

Wildcard:

Dalam Router Cisco wildcard subnet mask digunakan untuk:

Tips perlu diingat ialah

255 - Mask

Contoh:

Ingat no ajaib wildcard iaitu 255.

255 - 255 = 0
255 - 224 = 31

makan akan menghasilkan 0.0.0.31

Lagi contoh:

255 -255 =0
255 -240 = 15

Exam CCNA 640-802: Persediaan

Assalamualaikom w.b.t and Greetings,

Peperiksaan CCNA (Cisco Vertified Network Associate) 640-802 adalah amat sukar bagi mereka yang tidak membuat persiapan untuk menghadapinya. Ini kerana dalam SKALI, peperiksaaan CCNA dianggap peperiksaan yang getir berbanding dengan track-track yang lain.

Alhamdulillah saya cuba untuk melepasi halangan ini dengan mencari bahan bacaan dan latihan di internet. Secara umumnya, terdapat banyak rujukan boleh diperolehi di internet tetapi sekiranya tidak ada tumpuan yang khusus kita akan menjadi konfius dan berbelah bagi.

Jadi apalah kiranya jika saya meletakkan beberapa laman web yang betul2 membantu anda dalam menghadapi CCNA atau secara am nya untuk memahami apa itu network (rangkain) sebenar dalam dunia praktikal.

Penangan CCNA Exam

Sudah menjadi adat peraturan Allah s.w.t yang setiap sesuatu yang berlaku pasti ada hikmahnya.

Peperiksaan CCNA nie pada saya agak sukar sebab kita kena rehash minda kita untuk menerima konsep sebenar yang diguna pakai oleh commersil netwok.

Ilmu berkaitan dengan network nie bukan sekadar plug and play modem, router, switch dan pc dengan kabel2 tetapi lebih daripada itu.

Apabila kami ITD track nie belajar CCNA barulah terbuka sedikit pandangan kita terhadap teknologi rangkaian komputer nie.

InsyaAllah lepas nie saya akan sediakan beberapa set bantuan untuk sesiapa yang nak ambil CCNA exam nie.

SKALI SPIKE UP PROGRAMME

Well guy an girls, we are in the edge of our last month to work at SKALI as Young Skalian under Spike Up or SPARK programs. I felt time was run out fast and until now i am still not enough to get a full knowledge here.

Its almost 5 month and i am not sure either to continue the contract or just to find another company. I like and love to be Skalian here, lots of friend and great environment too. Just i don't like several political stuff that feel he or she is better and other are always lazy and doing mistakes.

For next batch, you are welcome here. This post i just want to write in Malay Language from this point.

Apa itu program SPIKE nie?

Program nie bertujuan menyediakan latihan berkaitan Teknologi IT dalam suasana pekerjaan yang sebenar di pejabat SKALI atau mana-mana subsidari nya.

Dulu-dulu program ini mamakan masa 3 tahun, kemudian 1 tahun dan sekarang dipendekkan sehingga menjadi 6 bulan sahaja secara kontrak. Saya pula berada dalam batch pertama yang kena 6 bulan bermula 2 Julai 2012 yang lalu.

Tempat Kerja?

Biasanya anda akan ditempat di Plaza Sentul atau Menara Sentul Jalan Sentul Pasar Kuala Lumpur. Ada juga yang ditempatkan di IDC Serdang untuk menjaga server di sana.

Sekarang IDC Serdang dah berpindah ke Cyberjaya. Jadi kemungkinan anda akan ditempatkan disana. Ala, paling busuk pun di Plaza Sentul, ibu pejabat Alam Teknokrat Sdn Bhd (SKALI).

Suasana di Plaza Sentul?

Wow, masjid ada di sebelah. Ada pasar raya di tingkat bawah plaza dan rumah sewa yang banyak di sekitarnya sehingga ke Batu Caves. Kedai makan dengan harga berpatutan juga ada. Nasi dgn lauk dalam RM4.00 sehingga RM4.50. Berbaloi-baloi.

Gaji atau Elauan?

Alhamdulillah, anda akan diberi gaji sebanyak RM1500 sebulan secara kasar. Batch-batch yang lepas mereka dapat RM2000 sebulan tau.

Kemudahan lain?

KWSP (EPF), SOCSO, Insurance Coverage, Red Card (perubatan) dan cuti tahunan berjumlah 7 hari.

Bilik Pentri, surat khabar, bilik mandi dengan pemanas air, tandas yang cantik dan makmal komputer serba lengkap.

Apa yang anda dapat nanti?

Setiap spiker atau young Skalian akan mendapat satu set komputer peribadi (PC) untuk kegunaan kerja. Anda akan ada  ruang meja sendiri dan kerusi ofis yang cantik.

Yang Bagusnyer?

Ada ramai kawan dan staf-staf yang baik-baik belaka. Mereka juga ada sebahagiannya bekas SPIKER seperi En. Faiz bin Saari, En. Sariman, Cik Rajwant Kaur a/p Visan Singh, Cik Ruhaida Othman, En. Fadhil Omar, Chee Lee Chin (CK Tan), dan ramai lagi. Jadi sekiranya prestasi anda bagus anda mungkin akan diserap dalam SKALI.

Masa Kerja?

Isnin sehingga Jumaat. Dari 9 pagi sehingga 5.30 petang. Sabtu dan Ahad anda boleh rehat dan buat amal. Kalau ada masa kerja tambahan anggaplah anda mendapat ilmu lebih.

2. Content Management, (kemaskini portal laman web, tambah dan upload kandungan)

3. Web Design, (Reka grafik photoshop, html, php dreamweaver)

5. JAVA programmer, (Liferay, Coding portal guna java)

6. Technical Writing, (Arkitektur kanduan laman, bahasa inggeris, IA)

7. Software Quality Analysis, (kena belajar koding untuk semak perisian, portal, Quality Assurance)

8. Network Administration (repair, maintenance, trobleshoot pcs, network device, server, software dan hardware)　

9. Junior Technical Trainers. (pengurusan kelas, pengajaran, tutor, kedatangan, impor export pengajar, susun kelas)

Cisco Certified Network Associate Exam

For last 2 week we has been trained for Cisco CCNA exam that will held on 3 December 2012 12 December 2012.

Its was my first time to take this International Exam Certification after our local Universities and Secondary school exams.

Means CCNA Cisco Certified Network Associate - Certification of IT professionals, which is published by Cisco Systems, Inc., one of the most successful IT companies. Cisco manufactures and markets a wide range of equipment for both companies and telecom operators. Cisco has a brief to San Francisco.

Tahapan dalam Peperiksaan CISCO

This time the exam is much much more related to our job field at SKALI as Network Admin under ITD track The exam cost is USD295 or about RM898 RM1020.



Cisco Certified Network Associate is an apprentice or foundation level (Cisco Certified Design Associate with) the three levels of certification are associated, Professional and Expert. Basically, there are CCNA certified professionals to install, configure and operate LAN, WAN and access to services for small networks (100 nodes or fewer), including but not limited to use of these protocols: IP Relay IGRP, Frame serial IP RIP, VLANs, RIP, Ethernet and Access Lists. The certification is valid for three years, after which re-certified may apply.

At SKALI, every young skalian or what we call SPARK program participants can sit the exam under which track they had. The cost for each exam is around RM300 up to RM1200 something. Its what i'v heard from Miss Mutia.

My next mission to get Zend Certified Exam for PHP. I like to have this kind of exam for my future professional skills.

The bad thing about this exam is its just valid for 3 years only. Other track they have an exam that can be for whole life but CCNA is just for 3 years. At Cradle, my intention is to get fund under pre-seed plan that entitled to get RM150K maximum. I've come up with my idea to build up a good portal but my weakness is i am lack in Business Plan part.

Its hard situation right now, i try to ask my friend either we need to continue this idea and present it to Cradle Panel or just make it as part time project and take lots of time to finish.

What is My Business Idea?

Its a concept of togather all what people most like into one. Everything just in one place, one thing and one monitoring.

My Business After SKALI

As reality in this world, business is the best effort to get lots of money. This manner is fact and we need to wake up and take a business manner as our main stream income. Especially Malay or Bumiputra, we need to get out from myth that working with government or under other people is better and safely.

My experience is business can help us to obtain RM3K and upto RM100K just to sell foodstuff. An example is selling burger and roti canai.

One of Mamak restaurant owner told me he got RM120K nett per month just selling nasi minyak, roti canai, naan, capati and so on. His restaurant operating 24 hours non stop. He got lots of customer that really want to give him money.

One of my partner got RM30K per month just selling aye wear through Ebay. And another one got RM110K just in Ramadhan month for selling shirts, kuih raya and eyewear.

My father in law got RM60K in Tahun Baru Cina celebration day just selling fresh seafood at Pasar JB. Another of my wife uncle got RM12K at Halal Festival (HalFest) last week HalFest 2012 just in 4 days.

Its amazing right?

This revenue is what our Malaysian Chinese and Indian feel it right now. Doing a business. Earn RM3K upto more than RM100K per month. If you are under technology and industrial sector, you will get a huge of revenue up to billions.

I do an interview to burger owner, he got RM400 around just in one day gross. He told if your stall is at strategic area and your burger is delicious, you will get bigger amount than him.

EDP Group To Obtain Cradle Grant

For Three weeks we has struggled to attending Cradle Grant Investment programs. There are about 13 of YS (Young Skalian under SKALI SPARK Programme). The flow of programs is by attending Talk Session on 11st October 2012, Application Clinic on 18th October 2012 and maybe on end of this October will be the interview session.

There are several YS that thinking to create their own business and hope be a selected to own the grant. Yesterday its was Application Clinic and i am went with my partner by motorcycle.

I hope this is my big opportunity but i am worry about idea hijack. Because to apply this we need to prepare the best and attractive reality of Business Modal Plan, Market research, Analysis and so on.

There are also CIP500 mean RM500K grant but i am not interested yet. My target is Pre-Seed or CIP-Catalyst that we can get maximum RM150K.

The application requirement is too strict and need lots of supported data from researches, analysis, surveys, beta tester, demands in sectors and so on. Its optional but its make our application more highlighted that others or simply we can be rejected.

Pre Seed Funding Grant

For people who have idea but have no product whatsoever nor any business plan in hand. This funding is for the pre seed stage where you will develop your product prototype and commercialize it. Therefore take note that this funding is primarily to:

develop your idea into a prototype product.

Once you have a prototype, it would be much easier to get financing to grow your business. Think of it like this,

you go to a bank and ask for loan, you have a working prototype, it would be easier to convince your panel to get the loan!

This is a conditional grant. That means you don’t have to pay back except if you do not meet the conditions agreed between you and CIP, you would be liable to pay back. (example: failure to implement the agreed milestones)

The maximum amount is RM150,000. However, it is delivered in tranches (sections) which means for tranche 1 the maximum amount is RM50,000. If you qualify you can apply for tranche 2 and 3 which is worth RM50,000 each.

For Cradle Investment Programme or called CIP focuses on many areas for pre-seed funding. If your business idea is related to the industry below, you are on track for the funding:

• Software and information services
• Internet: e-content, e-commerce & e-content
• Communication and networking: mobile data
• High-tech consumer and business products
• Electronic and semi conductors
• Medical devices and advanced materials
• Biotechnology and life sciences
• Environmental resources management and renewable energy
• Technology innovation created for any industry

Eligibility criteria is as below:

• Malaysians and aged 18 above
• Minimum 2 applicants to maximum 5 applicants

What are the allowable expenses (these are the only expenses allowed, no such thing where you get RM50,000 in cash, the funds are utilized only for the allowable expenses):

• Development of prototype
• Business Plan
• Purchase of market feasibility research
• IP search and registration
• Survey on statistical data
• Product sampling expenses

The product I mentioned above was CIP but there is also another product called U-CIP which focuses on research products created by university researchers to transform it into a prototype.

Today is Friday and i likely to wearing my Baju Melayu when going to work. Sincerely, i like this kind of environment of working place in mostly any Muslim Corporate that i was worked for.

Some corporate labelled Friday is where we wearing nice look comfortable style or called Casual Friday. Its not just our country doing it but its practiced by several Muslim corporate around the world.

But that day is not a taboo so we can wear anything we want. But still we need to follow our company rules that strictly did not allowed any kind of sexual fashion, looks poor, wear jeans and mix trendy that looks jerk.

My experience worked with Vads Berhad in Menara Celcom and Kolej Telekom Jalan Semarak show me Friday is the day where i can wear prayer shirt and do Friday Jemaah prayer comfortably.

This is make us to put Friday as a day we can be better to worship Allah and have practicing Islam.

I Lost My Memorable Shoes

Yesterday after performed solah i was shocked. My beautiful and memorable shoe gone. No..no..not this time..argghh!!

I am not satisfy and trying to looking around and found nothing. Its my office shoes that my mother bought for me on April of this year due my wedding celebration. My shoes were stolen. Pretty sad huh!

Its hard time but Alhamdulillah i had "selipar jepang" already at my car. Until today i am still use this selipar to go to office. I hope Mr. Faiz COOP of SCALE not notice me. And i hope other SKALI stuff keep it silent while they look at me. I need to wait for my next salary so i can buy a new one. May Allah accept my difficulties and convert it to hidayah to me and all mankind to practicing deen (Islam).

CSR 4 Photography Pendemic PART 1

Its amazing experience when i remember about our journey to Kuala Selangor last Saturday. But it should be a better from what we should get. However, a nice and great group 4 indoor activities has been ended and we got a lot of photographer there.

Including non group partner we have about 33 members that give their time to travel to Kuala Selangor Nature Park and FireFly Park. Well i have more story but its difficult to tell you all here.

On 2.00pm we all gathered in front of Ong Tai Kim Supermarket and began the journey 2.40pm by two companies vans and few personal member cars and arrived at 4.15pm that taken about 2 hours of journey.

Actaully our ariginal plan is:

1. Traveling Bukit Melawati (missed it)
2. Tracking at Nature Park (it was save us)
3. Night boat at Firefly Park (no photos)

But on that day we missed to travelling to Bukit Melawati due we cant use our vehicle to drive up to the hill. They want all us to using modified truck that looks like mini train with RM5/person making us out budget and since we leak time so its not worthly to go there.

Today i will show you how to grab RSS feed and parse its titles. The function and flow is:

1. File get contents to grab the Rss page
2. Regex to extract the desired text

Next, file_get_contents can handle remote file access. Even its slow i hope you can learn it as beginner. Next time i will show you how to use my favorite CURL.

Back to the tutorial. Here how we can grab RSS:

Then the $result will contain XML containing all post information like title, date of post, author and etc..

Our objective is to get any title between <item> and </item> where all post information are located.

Also the problem is there are other <title> before <item> tag so we need to remove this portion of source to just starting from <item> element. But using array we can filter out unused array from matched Regex.

My best weapon is using Xpath for complex extraction but for beginner i will show you my 2nd weapon is uing REGEX. Regex is very good if we know how to pattern it.

Here my regex pattern:

~<title>(.*?)<\/title>~is //this will extract any chars from between any <title> tag

You will notice array index zero (0) is not the item title. Its title of blog.

To remove index(0) i prefer using array_slice.
